There are several ways in which you can enter for the Young Composer of Dyfed competition.
- If you come to one of the October workshops, you will be given an entry form;

- Contact the Administrator, Cathy Morris, by phone (029 2019 0176) or by email morris.c@ntlbusiness.com with your name and address and she will send you a copy.
The deadline for forms this year is
Friday, November 6th2009.
The form registers your intention to compose a work. It will entitle you to an individual tutorial on work in progress with our Resident Composer Lynne Plowman. When you send it in, you will be sent further details of the competition, including guidance on what makes a good composition and how to present your score. You will also be sent a second form which should accompany your piece.
The deadline for submitting a work is Friday, February 12th 2010. No work will be accepted after this date unless you have first cleared it with the Secretary.
Eligibility and Rules
You must be:

less than 23 years old on March 1st 2010;
- Either: Resident in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion or Pembrokeshire;
- Or: With a home address in one of these counties;
- Or: In full time education at a school in one of these counties;
- Your piece should not be longer than ten minutes.
